Sharing the knowledge and expertise available within the transition movement is essential to us: it's indispensable for successfully building a new, ecological, and sustainable society together. We need to learn from others, from their experiences, and from their mistakes too. This lifelong learning ("Ecological Learning") helps to expand the collective imagination, generate new ideas, and implement ever more effective concepts.
CELL provides its community with three major sources of information and documentation: the BiBe portal, the transition toolkit, and the physical library located in our offices at Bamhaus.
THE BIBE PORTAL
The participatory platform for transition projects in Luxembourg.
BiBe is the portal for transition projects in Luxembourg.
Through a free, easy-to-use, participative digital platform, BiBe connects citizens with Luxembourg's transition network - and vice versa. In just a few clicks, BiBe enables you to :
- find a local transition project or action group
- give visibility to your transition project
- find inspiration from over XX listed projects
Bibe is a contraction of the Luxembourg words "Bierger" and "Bedéelegung", meaning citizen participation.
THE TRANSITION TOOLBOX
The citizen's toolbox for climate action
We are currently developing our toolkit and new resources will be integrated soon.
How to start an ecological transition project in your city, town, or neighborhood? What to expect?
How can we use collective intelligence to find solutions to management and organizational problems?
Our transition toolkit brings together numerous documents providing a variety of practical advice, tips, and guidelines for all types of transition projects, large or small. All these resources are freely available and open to our community. The goal is to strengthen the capacities of the movement's actors by providing the necessary knowledge. Our toolkit is participatory and is constantly enriched and updated regularly.
