A graduate of Sciences Po Paris in International Relations and Development, Anna has traveled the world, including Europe, Latin America and Africa. Her vision? To build bridges between cultures and people, and strengthen our sense of community in order to live in a more just, united and resilient world.

In her role as link builder at CELL, Anna is responsible for creating networks between players in the ecological transition. Fluent in 7 languages, she manages to create authentic links wherever she goes and excels in the art of designing spaces of well-being where ideas flourish and projects come to life. She loves dancing, writing and being in nature - swimming in the water or lying under the stars.

Sensitive to planetary limits since he was a teenager, he constantly wonders about the world his four children, and all the children on Earth, will inhabit. This former teacher-researcher in psychology, education and interculturalism could no longer be satisfied with academic abstractions: that's why he has turned himself into a catalyst for collective transformation.

After experience in a panoply of European projects and networks, he has been involved in the CELL adventure since 2016, first as a volunteer member of its board, then in project-based missions, and finally fully in the team. While he designs and leads co-creative workshops, he also has a penchant for working behind the scenes: stimulating shared governance, strategic thinking, sharing tools...

Unafraid of complexity, he intends to whisper the call for systemic change in order to experiment with liberating structures - and structuring freedoms - for a just transition.

A tree-lover from an early age, Jennifer worked for a number of environmental organizations in her native Canada before arriving in Luxembourg in 2021, her suitcases packed with boundless energy.

It's simple, Jennifer never stops: she started at CELL as a communications manager. Today, she continues her work with the European Climate Pact as coordinator. A mother of two, she has also successfully completed a degree in "Social Innovation and Sustainable Development" at the University of Luxembourg, co-founded NaturED, a project for ecological outdoor educational spaces in Kirchberg, and sits on a committee for ecology and sustainable development at her children's school (EEL2)... Among other things!

Perhaps you've already spotted him in your news feed, or in the crowd at a demonstration waving a placard. Online and offline, he's campaigning for the same thing: a greener planet with a red heart.

The end of the month and the end of the world are part of the same struggle: fighting for a fairer world, based on cooperation rather than competition, and centered on solidarity, cannot be done without confronting the exploitation of people and the planet in the name of profit. To achieve this, he is committed to creating new imaginaries that demonstrate the existence and feasibility of alternatives to the status quo.

But ideas are worth nothing if they are not disseminated and applied. That's what her work is all about: contributing to the emergence of a new vocabulary for a new world, and the empowerment of activists and symphonies. All help is welcome 🙂

Marion plunged into ecology via organic cosmetics, then zero waste with the opening of OUNI, a packaging-free grocery store in Luxembourg. The injustice of the industrial agri-food system, which exploits the planet intensively while leaving many people behind, prompted her to become a vegetarian.

Now a pro at second-hand goods, she has a passion for restoring furniture, which she modifies to give it a second life. Her concern for the well-being of the planet and its animals drives her to put conscience into every purchase she makes, choosing vegan products as a priority, whether in food, cosmetics or new clothes.

Already working as an administrative officer for a number of companies, it was her volunteer work for Handicap International that inspired her to work in the voluntary sector. When she became a mother, she realized that the logics of domination that enslave the planet are the same ones that dominate women. The intersectionality of these struggles, translated into eco-feminism, gives her the weapons to channel her anger.

Sophie is passionate about personal, community and societal transformation. After a university degree in organizational transformation models and a few professional years spent in the digital media sector, Sophie turned to development support and became involved in a cooperative women's empowerment project in the Indian Himalayas. Always on the lookout for new models of "living together", Sophie has worked and lived in various self-managed communities in Europe, the Himalayas and South America.

After years rich in travel and experience, Sophie returned to her native Luxembourg, where in 2015 she forged her first links with the nascent Transition movement. Today, her work at CELL focuses on digital citizen participation as part of the ecological transition, and on training change agents in Luxembourg and Europe via Community Climate Coaches. She is also working on a participatory research project for forest regeneration at the University of Luxembourg.

Ben joined CELL as coordinator of Repair Cafés activities and is actively involved in the energy transition. Having studied economics and social sciences at the ULB in Brussels, Ben acquired a solid theoretical grounding, but his interests have since turned towards the circular economy, the right to repair, and the protection of nature and biodiversity.

Optimistic and committed, Ben approaches the challenges of ecological transition with pragmatism and determination. He lives his convictions on a daily basis, leading a frugal car-free lifestyle, favoring travel on foot or by public transport, while cultivating his passions for soccer and rock climbing.

Rather than talking about himself, Ben prefers authentic and constructive exchanges with others, always in a spirit of openness and cooperation. He is particularly persistent and consistent in his commitments, convinced that the ecological transition is essential in the face of climate change and the challenges ahead.

Originally from Morocco, Firdaous is passionate about biodiversity and the functioning of natural ecosystems. With a degree in biology, she is fully committed to the protection of pollinators and the management of natural resources in community gardens.

Her missions include contributing to a participatory research program on pollinators, where she photographs insects and wild plants in some twenty gardens. She is also involved in making nesting boxes for bees, and in managing the citizen seed network, collecting and distributing seeds to preserve local biodiversity.

She is also actively involved in creating projects in the gardens, from planting to composting, and runs small educational workshops for children. She is also involved in communications for the eisegaart.luand is often present at plant and seed fairs.

Debora is an expert in communications and corporate social responsibility. She is convinced that the ecological and social transition requires an inner and collective transformation of human beings towards a more conscious existence. That's why, from Italy to Brussels, she has dedicated her work to circular economy projects and awareness-raising campaigns, accompanying various positive-impact organizations across Europe.

At CELL, Debora manages communications strategy and implementation, strengthening the organization's visibility and impact. She combines her passion for content creation with community building. She works at CELL because she believes that united communities are the key to sustainable change.

Outside work, Debora is a devoted mother, passionate about conscious education and convinced that children are the architects of our future. She appreciates simplicity and beauty, enjoys artistic activities and sharing the joy of Italian cuisine. Fascinated by psychology, spirituality and the holistic approach to human existence, she finds peace in long walks in nature.

Creative and visionary, Léa has a keen entrepreneurial spirit that enables her to weave the inspirations and ideas of different projects into an ordered yet poetic web. She aims to convey messages and values with relevance and accuracy to different target audiences, not only to inform and arouse curiosity, but also to incite change, from emotion to action.

An artist at heart, she brings a touch of fantasy to subjects that are sometimes more technical, scientific or political, through symbols and images that are disseminated on CELL's various channels, with the aim of reaching as many people as possible. With coherence and strategy, she takes charge of the visual identities of CELL projects in general, and TRANSITER and BiBe in particular, to unify and consolidate the organization's varied missions across web, print and social networks.

Driven by this inner vocation, it aspires to support and further activate the ecological transition and citizen participation in the creation of tomorrow's world.

Capucine is a cross between a journalist, an artist and an activist. Her camera is her travel companion and serves as a tool for all three activities at once. During her journalism studies in Brussels, she produced a 26min video report on an indigenous community forced to relocate due to the environmental crisis in Louisiana. In 2018, interested in nature education, she spent a month documenting the life of a Danish family living in harmony with nature.

She has been involved in ecological causes since her teens, and it was in Denmark that she really began to reconnect with nature: she organized excursions into the forest, and with friends founded an association for the preservation of biodiversity in the city called "Rewild Aarhus".

Curious about everything, she asks herself a billion questions and never stops investigating ways of living that are sustainable and respectful of the living world. At CELL, she documents various projects and produces photo and video mini-reports for social networks. Her aim is to use art, creativity and poetry to amplify the message of social and environmental justice.

Elena is currently contributing to the Boost Lokal project, where she supports citizens in creating sustainable solutions to strengthen local economies.

Previously, she worked in the financial sector until she decided to transform her life and align it with her values. She then began a PhD on economic transition. Having researched community initiatives and their alternative financing, she is looking forward to putting into practice the theories she has learned at Boost Lokal.

She is committed to better understanding how to transform our communities and practices, using ethical and truly sustainable finance as a tool for the well-being of society and the environment. Elena is also passionate about community and self-sufficient practices in line with post-growth; that's why on weekends she recharges her batteries by baking her own bread, hiking in nature or picking mushrooms.

Steve is CELL's digital nerd (understand: he knows a thing or two about code and computers, which is not the case for everyone at CELL... 😉 He's vegan to make a positive contribution to the world and to animals. He loves music festivals, because they bring people together and create unforgettable experiences.

Motor sport fascinates him, although he is also critical of its negative aspects, such as environmental impact. In his spare time, he enjoys cycling to keep active and enjoy nature. He loves video games of all kinds, especially those with exciting adventures and challenges.
